Government Polytechnic Mokokchung (GPM), Mokokchung was setup under the Third Technician Education Project, assisted by the World Bank in the year 2003 with an objective to impart high quality technical education along with professional ethics and values. We offer the Three years Diploma Courses in two Engineering disciplines namely, Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. This Polytechnic is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and is governed by the State Council for Technical Education, Directorate of Technical Education Nagaland. The Institute has a well-qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching faculty, supporting and administrative staff members. It has well equipped Computer and Electronics (Analog and Digital) Laboratories. The Institute also has well established Library with good internet facility.
In this present age of hi tech and fast paced technology, it is of paramount importance to impart quality technical education to student with integrated approach so that they can successfully shape their career and take on the competitive world. The Institute is fully committed to train and strive to lead in this field as a centre of academic excellence in Technical and skilled based education.
